On March 16th, fourteen “Climate Trotters” participated in the NYC Half Marathon. We ran 13.1 long miles through NYC, starting at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, then across the Brooklyn Bridge, through Times Square, and ultimately ending in Central Park. With more than 28,600 finishers, it was the largest half marathon in New York Road Runners history !

The event was a great success – all CIC / TPW runners completed the race. We are also proud to announce that we surpassed our fundraising goal for Team for Climate, which will be used to offset emissions from New York Road Runner Events throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement !
